This is Kangaroo Thorn or Hedge Wattle (Acacia Paradoxa), which has big thorns visible when it's not in flower. Really lives up to its name.


Early settlers used this thorny wattle as a hedge to keep their stock safe. Would be rustlers would get ripped to shreds!
