A rare single-shot rifle, G. Gressmann, Germany, circa 1870. Octagonal barrel with rifled bore in 10 mm calibre. Breech end of the barrel can be tilted upwards, on upper side marked "G. Gressmann. Patent". Percussion-style back action lock with firing pin mechanism integrated in the fence. Set trigger. Walnut full stock with iron furniture, trigger guard, tang and bottom lever engraved and polished. Light marks of use. Length 113 cm.
