The Soldiers placed more than a mile of concertina wire to complete the physical security of the site. A small group of Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awarenes


Task Force Spartan Division Tactical- Jordan Soldiers raise a section of a Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter, known as a DRASH tent, during a validation exercise to relocate a tactical operations center, known as “jumping the TAC”, April 14, was the first time 36th Infantry Division Soldiers executed a TAC jump on a deployment. The Soldiers placed more than a mile of concertina wire to complete the physical security of the site. A small group of Signal Soldiers ensured the computer network was immediately operational and able to provide the same critical level of situational awareness to command. This validation exercise provided hands-on training in real time and proved Task Force Spartan can be ready to move at a moment’s notice.
