Giant Mudskipper, Periophthalmodon schlosseri. Amphibious fish inhabiting soft mud in mangroves and intertidal habitats.
Distinguished by lateral striped along the body and bluish white speckles on the cheeks. The dorsal fin is used for swimming, and out of the water it is used to propel the fish like a flipper. The fish are preyed on by mosquitoes and flies when they are out of the water
