The frontaxle is divided into two short movable axles to been taken up carefully, and through practicalexperience and actual operation it has been dem-onstrated that the vehicle successfully and easilyoverrides such obstacles. Taking two electrical horse power as the aver-age consumed at a speed of ten miles an hour, thetotal operating expense for current used would beten dollars per month for a daily trip of fiftymiles. This is based upon the published rate of. equipment, as a single line of oars can be used asopen cars in summer and closed cars for winteruse.
