Boshi ko-maru with short kaeri, barely recognisable due to corrosion. Ca. 2 cm of the kissaki point chipped. Nakago o-suriage, five mekugi-ana, kiri yasurime. The remains of the signature "Bitchu ju Yoshitsugu" visible, copper habaki. Typical military officer's mounting. Cast brass fittings with cherry blossom decoration, brown silk binding over same.
