This latest acquisi-tion to the stock company centers the interest of the tradein the coming Solax comedy productions. In talking of Mr. Quirks engagement, Madame AliceBlache, president of the company, said, We are making anemphatic effort to organize a perfect comedy stock com-pany. We want to be known as the best comedy producersin the business. We already have with us some of the best. comedians, comedians who have won success and place. Some time ago I announced that I wouldengage the best I could get. I think the trade will agreewith me that I am keeping my promise. Mr. Quirk is a suave, light, clean-cut and boyish lookingcomedian.
