Itsfirst plan was to go to the now unused harbor ofPort Simpson near the south point ot 1904 the company announced that a contracthad been made with the Allan Line (SteamshipCompany) for a trans-Pacific service from thisport similar to their trans-Atlantic service nowin operation in connection with that will require a new fleet of steamers.
