Loch Awe, sometimes known as "The Jewel of Argyll", is a large body of water in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The loch has also given its name to a village on its banks known as Loch Awe or Lochawe. It is the third largest freshwater loch in Scotland as well as being the longest. There are islands within the loch such as Chonnell and Inishail.
