September. —A magnifi- cent English plum ; form of "S ellow Egg; light red changing to violet ; flesh rather coarse. Tree a vigorous grower and most abundant bearer. One of the most attractive in cultivation. Bradshaw Plum.—A very large and fine early plum, dark violet red, juicy and good. Trees erect and vigorous; very pro^ductive; valuable for market. The tree is very hardy and vigorous. As regards productiveness, it is unequaled by anv plum we nave ever fruited. To produce the fijiest fruit heavy tliinning should be practiced. The quality is excellent and it is destmed to become one of the most popular of all plums for canning, while its attractive color, good quality and ship- ping properties will cause it to be sought for as a market variety. It ripens ten days to two weeks later than Abundance. This plum^resembles Niag- ara in size, color and general good qualities. It is a grand variety, and no collection is complete with- out it. It is becoming better kno^vn each year and is a great favorite for home use on account of its fine quality, and for market for the reason that it is possessed of great beauty and large size, and is enormously productive. Wickson Hardy Japan Plum^ Wickson is another of Burbank's creations, and the largest of all plums. Tree a good grower of vase- like form, and an early and productive bear
