MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 3, 2014) -- An UH-1 Huey from Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Leroy Grumman (T-AO 195) drops supplies aboard the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) during a vertical replenishment-at-sea. Mesa Verde, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
