The Standard Lumber Company, Limited, has been incorporated by the British Columbia govern- ment. —The Chandler-Jones Lumber Company, of Ogdens- burg, are building a saw and shingle mill at Ompeh, Ont. —Bell & Company are building a saw mill on False Creek, Vancouver, , to be in operation by the early spring. —The late James Robertson, president of the James Robertson Company, Montreal, left an estate valued at $369, —J. A. Rosseau and Hercule Arcand have registered proprietors of the saw mill business of H. Arcand & Cie, Champlain, Que.
