Vatican City is the world's smallest independent state in the world and it is surrounded entirely by a brick wall as its boundary. The Citte del Vaticano sits in the middle of Rome, Italy, measuring 110 acres. It is home to St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums, as well as to the Pope of the Catholic Church.
