They claim no slight-of-hand trick in mixing their goods, but put up a bold guarantee that not one pound ot rock is used in compounding their goods; their potato manures contain no muriate of potash. Only high grade sulphate is used. The Basis of Mapes Manures is Pure Bone, and the BEST FORMS of Ammonia, Nitrogen and Potash are added and in the best proportions. They enrich the soil same as stable manure. Hundreds of farms brought up and maintained in rich condition with paying crops for some twenty years, including the past years of 1896, 1897 and Field ol Grass grown by T. E. Fuller, Worcester, Mass., manured with The Mapes Grass Top=Dressing. A remarkably heavy crop, with a second crop yielding one to two tons per acre. Potato Manure. Ammonia, to 5 per cent.; Phosphoric Acid, 8 to 10 per cent, (soluble and available, 8 per cent); Soluble Potash, actual, 6 to 8 per cent., all as high grade Sulphate, and in forms free from Muriates (or Chlorides), Magnesia, Lime, etc. For Irish and Sweet Potatoes, also for Asparagus, Early Vegetables, Tomatoes, Sugar Beets, Sorghum and Sugar Cane. Per ton, $ Corn Manure. Ammonia, to 5 per cent., Phosphoric Acid, 10 to 12 per cent, (soluble and available, 8 to 10 per cent); Sol- uble Potash, actual, 6 to 7 per cent. For Sweet Corn, Fodder Corn, Hungarian Grass, Millet, Late Turnips, Late Cabbage, and Seeding to Grass. Per ton, $ Complete Manure (for general use).
