The West Pennine Moors is sheep country with the fields being marked by dry stone walling, though this one below Darwen Tower could do with a repair.

Cw 7588 West Pennine Moors. The west Pennine Moors above Blackburn. There are plenty of public footpaths in this area on the edges of the former cotton towns of East Lancashire. A lot of the area is controlled by the water company United Utilities who have a number of reservoirs in the hills of the area that supply water to the towns of the area. It is sheep country as well, with the fields being marked by dry stone walling, though this one below Darwen Tower could do with a repair.
