The Netherlands pavilion at Expo 67, Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1967. It was designed by Wout Eijkelenboom, co-founder of EGM architects. The tube construction was composed of aluminium rods. Within the ‘space frame’ several areas were connected by escalators. At the end was a large hall, overlooking the St. Lawrence River and the city. The 1967 World Exposition (or World's Fair) – ‘Expo 67’ – was situated on island site on the St Lawrence River. Its theme was ‘Man and his World’ – a vintage 1960s photograph.

The attraction lived on after 1967 during summer months and finally closed in 1981. This image is from an old amateur Kodak colour transparency taken by a visitor to the fair.
