MEDITERRANEAN SEA (October 2, 2014) – Lieutenant Jonathan Williams observes the firing of the MK 45 5-inch lightweight gun during a Pre-Action Caliber Fire exercise aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67). Cole, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
