COUNCIL GROVE, KANSAS - JUNE 18, 2022 Derek Schmidt (red plaid shirt) the current Kansas Attorney General and current Republican candidate for Governor walking and shaking hands with constituents in the annual Washunga Days parade on Main Street in Council Grove today. Part of the tradition of the parade is to throw candy to the children along the parade route and Derek is just missed by some of the treats.
