Fish Ponds the tourist will proceed by the drive tothe Washington Obelisk or National Monument. The small grey stoneplanted s. w. of the Obelisk marks the Meridian of the D. C. The Washington Obelisk or National Monument, is the loftiest U. S. FISH PONDS—WASHINGTON OBELISK. 39 human construction in the world.
