Army Brig. Gen. Deborah L. Kotulich, commanding general, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), boards the New Orleans, a Army Landing Craft Utility, Sept. 25, 2017, in Tampa, Fla. Soldiers from the 824th Transportation Company (Heavy Boat) gave Kotulich a tour of their versatile vessel that offers key sustainment capabilities for America’s military. Army Reserve Command has alerted the crew of the New Orleans to prepare their vessel to load life-sustaining supplies to support humanitarian relief efforts for Puerto Rico and other islands devastated by Hurricane Maria.
