Lilina Benning left, a Wounded Warrior, gets a surf lesson from Suzy Stewart at Kailua Beach on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Community supporters helped spread some aloha to a group of 26 Wounded Warriors and Family members by providing services and resources for many outdoor activities, May 6-16. Afterwards, the Wounded Warriors, most of whom are amputees, returned to Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, to continue recuperating.
