Walking path through a redwood grove, California, USA. Redwoods in this grove age up to 1,400 years old. The Walbridge Fire of 2020 which destroyed 55,000 acres in Northern California reached the edges of this grove before being stopped by firefighters and rangers, who managed to protect many of the groves oldest trees. Prior to 2020 the previous fire to affect this area struck in 1923.
