= Angle View on the Stalinist High-Rise Tower = The view from a corner on Kudrinskaya square tower completed in 1954, just a year after the death of Stalin. It is the one of famous seven Stalinist skyscrapers built after WWII, at the end of 1940s, beginning of 1950s to change architectural style of Moscow city in commemoration its 800 anniversary. The 156 meters tall high-rise residential building on Kudriskaya square has 24 floors with about 450 elite apartments that were occupied by many famous pilots and other high-ranking aviation industry professionals, nomenclature of Central Committee of Communist Party and Council of Ministers of USSR. At the bottom of this picture can be seen one of sculptures that decorate facade of the building. The central tower culminates in a 30-meter spire, with a 5-pointed star at the tip.
