It is tender, crisp and sweet, even to the outside leaves. Pkt., 10c; 1 20c; 1/4 lb., 65c; 1 lb., $ ICEBERG Forms a compact head with large main ribs which curve inwards, protecting the center, so that it is always thoroughly blanched, remaining crisp and tender at all times. Sown in open ground in May in bills 3 feet apart each way, or in a hotbed and afterwards transplanted.
