Access to the village Applecross in the Scottish West Highlands is by a narrow road ascending the summit sanwiched between Sgurr a Chaorachain at 774 metres to the north and Meall Gorm at 710 metres to the south. As can be seen the road features several hair pin bends on the ascend from Loch Kishorn in the background.
