Ewer and basin Bowl, The round, curved bowl has a wide rim, with a corrugated contour interrupted by double bulges. It is driven with four large irregularly shaped fields in the flat and four small, heart-shaped fields in the edge. The fields are surrounded by frames composed of soft ornaments, interlaced with draperies. Sample heads emerge from a number of locations from these lists. The large fields are decorated with allegorical representations of a combination of the seasons and the ages of man.
