Venice, May 7th, 2019 : the relict of the fishing boat,that, sank near the isle of Lampedusa in 2015, where more than 700 migrants died, was recovered by the Italian government, and was given to the town of Augusta, Sicily. The Suiss artist Christoph Buchel shipped it to Venice and exhibits the relict at the Venice Arsenale, for the 58th Biennale d'Arte di Venezia. "Barca Nostra" (English : Our Boat) is the title of the artistic installation. The 58th Biennale title is "May You Live in Interesting Times" The exhibition will open from May 11th to November 24th 2019.
