Borssele EPZ Nuclear Power Station, Plant, to the left. Coal-fired power plant to the right. Pylons. Dutch Holland Netherlands.

Dutch Nuclear Power Station in Borssele. The Nuclear Power Station is to the left; the Coal-Fired Power Station is in on the right. Dutch name: Kerncentrale Borssele. The power plant sits on the shore of the Westerschelde, Western Scheldt, estuary (not visible). The Borssele Power Plant is a pressurized water reactor type (PWR). It is the only electricity producing nuclear power plant in the Netherlands. Its net output is 485 MWe (512 total). It's owned by the provincial PZE power company, who in turn is owned by Delta and Essent power companies. Essent in turn is owned by the German RWE (Rheinisch-Westfälisches Elektrizitätswerk) power company. There is an ongoing lawsuit whether RWE actually is allowed to own a part of the nuclear facility.
