Gunlock (Percussion) on a Dummy Breech or a 30-Pounder Cannon, Percussion lock on wooden breech of a 30-pound cannon. The lock plate is mounted on the right-hand side against the lock elevation with two bolts through it, and two screws in the breech. The hammer rotates at a right angle to the barrel. The head of the hammer has a slot for the flame from the sun hole when fired. A hole for the pull-off rope is provided in the shaft, a disk in the lock plate through which the rope is guided backwards.
