During an examination I was making (1872) of the collection of theUniversity of Copenhagen, I discoveied a Velorita, which I was able toidentify as the adult of a species {parvula) which I had described fromthe young only. There w^ere three specimens in the University, one ofwhich was very kindly presented to me. The ^ja?VMZc/, compared with Cochinensis, is very much less ponderous.
