The Prizetaker grows always to a perfect globe shape, with bright straw colored skin, the necks are very small and the onions ripen up hard. It matures early and is uniformly of large size and fine shape, being flattened but very thick. The skin is a beautiful silver-white, flesh snowv and tender, of a mild, sweet flavor.
