The view taken in 1828, shows the Pont des Arts in Paris, France. The bridge was constructed by de Cessart and Dillon as an iron bridge with nine arches from the Quai du Louvre to the Quai de la Monnaie fronting the Palais des Beaux Arts. It is only a foot bridge and little used. The image was drawn by A Pugin and engraved by Thomas Barber
