Unusual blue green colour of the waters of Lake Pukaki on the South Island New Zealand. Lake Pukaki is the largest of the three alpine lakes

Lake Pukaki is unique in the fact of it's unusual colour which is caused by glacial flour( fine silt caused by the glacier grinding the rocks to a fine silt) mixing with the blue waters of the lake.
