DAKAR, Senegal (March 10, 2014) Liberian Coast Guard Seaman Phillip Dennis and Ens. Sy Komora work in the Exercise Saharan Express Maritime Operations Center (MOC). The MOC coordinates all scenario-based activities of the exercise including combatting illegal fishing, trafficking and piracy. Saharan Express 2014 is an annual international maritime security cooperation exercise designed to improve maritime safety and security in West Africa.
