Gladioli are plentiful. Many new varieties are in the market. One particularly handsome variety is of an American Beauty shade. The raJii which we have needed so badly arrived at last and the results will, no doubt, be notice- able in outdoor stock. Various Notes. Mrs. J. McGannon, of the staff of James McKellar, Columbus, O., was vis- iting in Detroit recently en route for Mackinac. Harry Breitmeyer returned from Chi- cago last week. He motored both ways. Fred Breitmeyer has also returned from Chicago. Miss Fitzgerald, of the Michigan Cut Fower Exchange, is on a trip up the St. Lawrence river and through the Thou- sand islands. John Berlin, of the same firm, is spending his time at the summer resorts near Detroit. George Demling is at Grand lake, Mich. ' E. C. G. Decatur, HI.—Daut Bros., who find business growing, are displacing their old refrigerator with one of much larger size, containing a display case in front and a big storage compartment in the rear.
