Proboscis fully deTeloped ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaeliing to middle of frons and moderately scaled, the 3rd short, porrect; frons with transverse ridge not clothed with scales, a corneous plate below it and flattened tuft of scales above; eyes large, round ; antennte of male with fascicles of cilia; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests ; tibiEe moderately fringed with hair, the fore tibiag slightly spined at extremity, the hind tibiae spined ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing long and narrow, the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole; 11 from cell.
