About 400 ft. from the power house is the passenger stationfor the park. This is a frame building with a long coveredplatform, and contains waiting rooms for men and for women,a baggage room, superintendents office and despatchers office,all of these being on the ground floor. In the second story of the waiting station is a suite of apart-ments for the general manager, which consists of a bed room,hath room, and a room which, for any hut an official of an. EXCITER SET IN POWER STATION electric road, might be termed a lounging room, but, as in thiscase the general manager is also the second vice-president andthe local executive officer, such designation would possibly bea misnomer. There is also a balcony connected with theserooms, which commands a view of the track, power house, carhouse and park. The general manager being a bachelor, theabove rooms were considered sufficient for his lodging, andit was not considered necessary to make any provision for his MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT The boiler equipment consists of four300-hp Stirling boilers.
