CHESAPEAKE BAY (Oct. 4, 2016) A landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) approaches the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) to deliver food, first aid, and medical supplies. Mesa Verde is underway in preparation to support humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts in Haiti in response to Hurricane Matthew.
