Nowak, A\<c Georges Michel French: 1763—1843 ISO—APPROACHING STORM Height, 20 inches; length, 26 inches A BROAD roadway, filling the foreground and leading into themiddle of the picture, is illuminated by the light from thesky while a stretch of country beyond shows very dark in theshadow of black storm clouds which are passing, a little abovethe horizon, from the right of the picture.
