Petone Settlers Museum, Te Whare Whakaaro O Pito-One, the Esplanade, Petone, Lower Hutt near Wellington in North Island, New Zealand


Built in 1940 to commemorate the arrival of the first British immigrants in 1840, the Wellington Provincial Centennial Memorial also served as a bathing pavillion. It is now occupied by the Petone Settlers Museum Te Whare Whakaaro which re-opened in 2016 after refurbishment.
