Ground-hugging dwarf birch (Betula nana), Vatnajokull National Park, Iceland.

Iceland in March has beautiful snow-covered mountains, flowing waterfalls, glaciers and icebergs, ice caves that still can be visited in the cold weather, dark nights with the opportunity to photograph the northern lights, and warm hot spring to bath in. The famous Ring Road that circles the country is more accessible in March than mid-winter.
