The Chapel of Santa Teresita de Kavanayen or the Sanctuary of Santa Teresita de Kavanayen is a parish of the Catholic Church located in the town of Kavanayen to the south the Gran Sabana, in the Upper Basin of the Caroni River, in the Bolivar State in Venezuela. It is part of a complex that includes a convent, sanctuary and parish church. Because of its particular architecture, it is considered one of the symbols of the town and one of its main tourist attractions. The name Kavanayen is of Pemon origin, Kavana-yen comes from Kavanru-yen, which means "place of roos de sierra". It was established in 1943 as part of a conglomerate of buildings of the Catholic Church interested in evangelizing to the indigenous people of the region. The church building is protected as a World Heritage Site, because it was built on land that is part of the Canaima National Park.
