An English officer's sabre, 1st quarter of the 19th century Curved blade with broad fullers on both sides. Two thirds of the blade are etched, blued, and gilt with trophies amid scrollwork and decorative floral designs. Maker's inscription "Osborn and Gunby's Warranted"on the reverse side.
