Jermaine Brooms, from Chicago, the commanding officer of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), presents a Bluejacket of the Quarter plaque to Sonar Technician (Surface) Seaman Triniti Vild, from Rancho Cucamonga, California, during an all-hands awards quarters. Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
