All cars are electrically lighted and heated, the necessaryswitches being placed in the vestibule entrance of each coach,and so arranged as only to be accessible by means of a specialkey carried by the guard. There is a through bell communica-tion which enables the guard, by means of a special key, togive the motorman the signal to start from any vestibuleentrance on the train.
