The Surface Acquisition Logistics Center’s (SALC) Cutter Transition Division (CTD) oversaw the repair of three decommissioned Coast Guard coastal patrol boats (the former Albacore, Cochito and Gannet) at the Coast Guard Yard, and performed the reactivation, and seven weeks of training for the Uruguayan Navy after the former Coast Guard cutters were transferred to the Uruguayan Navy on Feb. 10, 2022 as part of the Coast Guard’s Foreign Military Sales Program.
