Cholmondeley Castle Gardens. Pepplestone mosaic with Cholmondeley Castle in the background. Created by Maggy Howarth the pebblestone mosaic was commissioned by Lady Cholmondeley as a memorial to her late husband. Designed in a Gothic revival castle style by local architect William Turner, Cholmondeley Castle was built in the early 19th century for George Cholmondeley, the 1st Marquess of Cholmondeley. The castle gardens are open to the public at specified times. If required, it may be possible to arrange property release for this image.
