Church of St. Nicolas from Usokha (1536) in Pskov (Russia).
The church of St. Nicolas from Usokha was built in place of drained swamp ("Usokha" stands for drained swamp) in 1371, but in 1536 it was replaced by a new church which was second largest church in the city that time (after Trinity Cathedral). Due to cultural layers which are 2 meters thick the church nowadays looks more stocky than it was in 16th century. It is very typical for Pskovian medieval architecture.
