TYING UP AND SITTING UP FOR TIGER PERHAPS the most general of all methods employed in the pursuit of tiger through- out the country is to tie out ' kills' (gara), consisting of buffaloes or cows, in the forests or jungles known to be occupied by ' stripes,' and wait till a kill shall enable you to get to work. 237.
