An MGB sports car on display at County Hall in Market Place in Abingdon-on-Thames, a historic market town, a few miles south of the university of Oxford in South Oxfordshire, Britain. MG cars made an application to house its own museum on the site of the nearby former prison as it had the shape of the MG badge. The MG sports car was produced at Abingdon from the MG Car Club is based at the Kimber House, next door to the MG Car Company Factory in the town. As the car is produced in China, Abingdon attracts around 2,000 Chinese visitors a year.
